crisp and classic
I donโt know if Iโve ever experienced a day that was so crisp, classic, and pristine. Every element was so purposeful and coordinated, and all while maintaining a very clean color palette of white, green, and blue. From the skies -to the flowers -to the tiniest detail, everything seemed to be one of those three colors.
The Venue
Firstly, the venue was one of the prettiest settings I have ever seen for a wedding.
Cannon Estate Winery boasts rolling hills covered in grape vines, contrasted by the crisp white of the main house.
Glorious white hydrangeas were in full bloom for this early August day, which tied in with the florals perfectly.
The Ceremony
Now picture a live violinist and celloist playing music as guests calmly find their seats and await our beautiful bride under the shade of an ancient cedar tree.
Fans and parasols were provided by the lovely Events by Elle. Those, along with all the decor, were meticulously thought out by Elle and her team.
The bride had asked for the floral arrangements to have an organic feel, filled with white and green flowers. Subtle hints of blush add to the soft, romantic feel of the day, and give hints of contrast.
The Reception
Inviting long tables, setup to surround a black and white checker board dancefloor, were kissed by sunshine all throughout the evening.
Sitting next to the turquoise water of the pool, nothing could have felt more summery. And tempting to hop in on such a hot day!
The flowers all made their way up to the reception area and adorned the champagne tower, as well as the head table in front of our newlyweds.
An amazing team of vendors
